Anni Höcker’s artistic practice explores how landscapes carry the traces of human intervention, extraction and conflict. Working with moving image, field recordings, and scientific and archival research, she investigates how memory, ecology, and material histories become embedded in place. Her work often moves beyond a human-centered perspective, approaching landscapes as living archives that continue to change over time.
